Underwater Heart Garden

I did this painting in July, 2008, in honor of my daughter, Jocelyn Kirsch, and her boyfriend, Evan Guggenheim. What an amazing couple. :) The "final" painting is the one on top, the one you see below is an early version.

Splender is the Grass

Do you see the grass? From my lawn, where I painted...

Somewhere in the Himalayas

Carnival of Hearts

This painting, which hangs in my husband Richard Kirsch's office in Washington, D.C., honors the July 2008 launch of Health Care for America Now, a national campaign for comprehensive and affordable health insurance. MAY OBAMA WIN, and MAY WE FINALLY WIN NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE, hip hip

HURRAH!!!!!

Birthday Birch

This is my first commissioned painting. :) I painted it in honor of my niece, Sarah J. Donohue, on the occasion of her 30th birthday. She asked for a painting last Christmas, when she was visiting my house, and I set about painting something that seemed in the spirit of SARE!!!!!!

Love you SARE!!!! And many happy returns!

Underwater Morning, or Tomato Sun

This is a painting for my sister HOLLY, who loves to spin upside down in the ocean, and in whatever swimming pool she can find :) !!!! Holly said recently that she is "a twelve-year old boy caught inside the body of a forty-ish woman." To that spirit, I say, here here, and hee hee.

Painting My Heart in Credit Cards

All three of my wonderful children have told me that they love this painting. Maybe I need to do a couple more :) so that each one will know that they have my HEART!!!!
